Is Mr Mover Of Ohio actually licensed and insured?
Yes, and it's paperwork we keep current without being asked. Active Ohio registration as a household-goods carrier, cargo coverage on every load, and a certificate of insurance ready whenever a Dublin or Westerville property manager wants one on file. Same coverage whether it's a studio apartment or a haul out to Chicago.
Do you quote hourly, or give a flat total?
You get a flat total. Hourly is just how Priya calculates it behind the scenes, then she converts that into one number for the whole job before your crew starts. If OSU traffic or a bad patch of I-71 slows things down, that's on us, not added to your bill.
What if our street is narrow or there's a gravel alley involved?
Tell us early and Dario maps it out ahead of time, so nobody's discovering a dead end in German Village with a loaded truck already there. Whatever access work that takes is part of the number from the start, not billed after.
Our closing date keeps moving, can you work with that?
That's common enough in Central Ohio real estate that we build slack into the schedule for it. Corbin handles a shifting closing exactly like he handles a home game, something to plan around rather than panic over.
What about OSU Saturdays or winter storms?
Checked the night before, every time, game schedule and weather both. If either one affects your route, the truck gets rerouted in advance instead of stuck figuring it out live.
What happens if our new place isn't ready when moving day comes?
Renata lines up temporary storage that matches what you actually own, billed by the month, usually half off for the first one. Once the new address clears, delivery goes out with the same crew that handled the pickup.
What's actually covered under valuation protection?
Two options. Released value ships standard, no charge, sixty cents per pound per item, workable for furniture but thin if anything's genuinely valuable. Full-value protection runs roughly one to three percent of what you declare and adds up to $1 million in cargo coverage. Priya can help you figure out which one fits once she knows what's moving.
When does payment actually happen?
After the last box is inside and placed where you wanted it, not before. Cash, check, or card, whichever you prefer. Priya already locked the number in before the truck left the yard, so there's no math left to do, just confirming what you agreed to.
Can our date change, and who exactly is on the crew?
Call or text as soon as a date shifts, our schedule flexes for that kind of thing often enough that it won't cost you anything extra. Every mover on our trucks is someone we hired and trained, so the same company handles your job start to finish.
