Movers in the Mission
Free, No-Obligation Estimate
Victorian flats, walk-ups, and no driveways in sight. We know the Mission’s tight blocks and street-cleaning windows, and we plan the parking so the truck lands close.
Hauling in Mission: What to Plan For
The Mission is flat, dense, and packed with Victorian flats stacked two and three high. There are no driveways and curb space vanishes fast, so we pull a permit when the block is tight, time it around street cleaning, and carry your stuff down those classic front stairs without a scratch.

How We Look After It
From the first blanket to the final walk-through, the move is covered.
Insured, Every Job
Cargo and liability coverage travels with the move, and we go over your valuation options before you sign a thing.
Wrapped Tight
Blankets, shrink, and straps on the furniture, floor runners down. If something slips, we log it on the spot.
Stairs Included
Walk-ups and long carries are baked into your flat number. No per-flight tally waiting for you at the curb.
We Stay Till It’s Right
Fair price, honest crew, and nobody clocks out until the last piece sits where you want it.
We Know Mission
We sort the permit, the staircase carry, and the curb timing before the truck rolls, so a Mission move does not stall on a parking spot. Your lead runs the whole job, and the flat price is signed before we carry the first box.

Questions, Answered
Do you move within the Mission?
Yes, the Mission is one of our busiest neighborhoods. Local moves start at $149/hr with a flat written price and the stairs already counted, and we pull the parking permit for you. We price a long haul out of the Mission on what it weighs and how far it is going.
Are you actually licensed?
Yes. Bay Haul Moving holds California household-goods carrier authority and full insurance, and every job runs with our own crew start to finish, no broker in the middle. Ask us for the authority and coverage details and we will lay out valuation before you book.
Do you charge extra for stairs or a long walk to the truck?
No. This is San Francisco, walk-ups and half-block carries are just Tuesday, so we build them into your flat number up front. You will not get a per-flight or long-carry surcharge sprung on you at the end.
Will you pack for me?
All of it or just the breakables, your call. We bring real boxes, paper, and wrap, label everything by room, and we can unpack on the far end too.
How do SF parking and permits work on move day?
We take care of it. For tight blocks we pull a temporary no-parking permit from the SFMTA a few days ahead, and for towers we book the freight elevator and file the building COI, so nobody is circling for a spot when the truck shows up.
Can you move a piano or a safe?
Yes, with movers trained for exactly that. Uprights, grands, gun safes, antiques, and art get the right board, straps, and padding, plus a custom crate when a piece calls for one.
Can I reschedule?
Sure. Give us 48 hours and the deposit is refunded in full. Every cancellation term is spelled out in your booking, so there is nothing to guess at.
